2 months agoI’m a Tampa native and would always recommend Nick’s to anyone over other gyros. I don’t often eat out but when I do, this is the place I come for gizzards or Philly. I am highly disappointed. The shrimp was great but my 1/2lbs gizzards was literally the bottom of the pot. It was small bits of pieces. I had maybe 4-6 actual gizzards pieces. This was unacceptable.

3 months agoI do not know what happened to this place but the food is terrible now. I ordered a gyro and when I picked the bag up it felt like there was almost nothing in the bag. I opened the sandwich and it was pathetically small. When I asked the lady why this was so small her response was "well they used to be big but they are not anymore." No problem... trust me I will not be coming back to this low budget place.

4 months agoFirst time coming to NICKS in a loooong time I got the 1/2 lb gizzards and 5 wings (#9) mild buffalo lemon pepper wings was good.gizzards fried JUST right my husband got the 10 mild buffalo lemon pepper wings and fries which he say was good and fresh.chef salad was ok had to take ALOT of meat off to get to the lettuce tomatoes and cucumber .overall I’ll give them a 8/10

8 months agoDinner experience with the vibe in a good way. The food was great and the guys were so sweet. One of the workers made sure we were safe when some sketchy people came over so sweet of him ❤️ i never had a gyro before and this was absolutely delicious!

a year agoGot grilled shrimp with curly fries. Seasoned like blackened shrimp with a really good flavor! I had eaten 5 or 6 before I realized I forgot to take my picture! They give SOOO MANY SHRIMPIES!! Well worth the price! I got it to go; they have a very fast food atmosphere as well as a drive through.

a year agoAffordable eats make this a worthy lunch or late night stop. Great prices. Average, yet tastety food. Greek salad with gyro meat added was good. Chicken wings were also good with a nice buttery heat to the hot sauce. Mostly a carry out or drive thru place, but a few tables are inside if lucky enough to get one.

2 years agoThe fries were actually very good. The portions are large. The gyro is mediocre at best. The tzatziki smells bad. The pita wasn’t anything great at all. The restaurant is an old place in the hood. The people are very nice hard working.
